Being involved with network marketing for a while now, I have
seen the good, the bad and the ugly. When you have seen as much as I
have, you know what works across all platforms in MLM.
There are a few key things that just don't change no matter where you go and one of them is the fact that the money is in the list. If you have no list then you will make no money.
Your list may be in the form of phone numbers that you manually call and look for interested people or it may be an email list or opportunity seekers that you have built and are constantly marketing to. I prefer the latter one but people still have massive success with the first technique. It is just too long and time consuming for me. I would rather only talk on the phone to people that are qualified prospects.
Another thing that does not change is the fact that people need to know, like and trust you before they are willing to partner with you in business. This is especially true when you have a buy anywhere over $100. A couple of different methods that are my favorite to build know, like and trust is through social media, videos and blogging. If you were doing it all school then you would need to make sure that you spoke with everyone on the phone or in person. There is just no leverage there but that is still an option if that suits you better.
One thing you will learn in network marketing is FORM. It stands for family, occupation, recreation and message (or money). These are your talking points and don't necessarily need to go in order.
Network marketing is simple and if you don't overcomplicate it, you can make it really far. The more complicated you make things, the less money you are going to make.
