HEARING HIS VOICE

Isaiah 30:21 (NKJV) Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” Whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left.

The sweetest sound in the entire world is the sound of our Father’s voice.  When God, our Father, spoke in days past, things happened!  The world and the universe were created.  All of the life that crawls on the earth, under the earth, in the sky, and in the water, was created by His Word.

Hebrews 11:3 says, “By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.”

What an amazing statement!  The Creator made all that is visible by a Word!  The reason I bring this out is that He who has all this power in His voice and in His Words speaks to us!  He wants to speak with us!  He wants to share His heart, and help and guide us each and every day of our lives.  What assurance we have of our loving Father directing and guiding us, as we listen to His voice speaking to us this day.

God is not silent.  I believe that He is constantly talking to our hearts, but many times, we are just too busy to listen, and we miss out.  You know, if I have a radio but I have it on the wrong station, then no matter what I do, I am not going to hear what I want to hear, unless I take the time to adjust the station.

So many times in our lives we just need little adjustments to hear what the Father wants to say to our hearts.  I believe that if we will take the time to listen, it could save us so many heartaches that we go through.

So take some time today and listen to what He wants to say to you. Listen to that still small voice speaking to your heart.  He will never let you down.  He is always there for you!

Confession:  Today, I will listen to the voice of my Heavenly Father who will guide me to go right or to go left.  My Heavenly Father has my best interest in mind, so I can rest assured that He will guide me for good this day!
