How to Make Dreams Come True

By Pat B Freeman

PURPOSEFUL PLANNING MAKE DREAMS POSSIBLE

When we dream, often we're asleep. At least that's how we think of dreams. But there is also another way to dream -- exploring ideas in your imagination while you're awake. When I'm asleep and dreaming, I can go anywhere and can do anything. I can do the impossible. But when I wake up, I awake to my imagination. I can imagine the dream being possible as I look around me. If my vision is big enough, I can see it becoming possible on a national or global level. As we open our minds to desires, hopes, and dreams -- and what we would like to do with our lives now and in the future, we can envision so many things. You may want to do something that someone else will think is impossible.

When I want to do something, I will not pursue it without being intentional. When you have a plan, you intend to achieve your goal. There will be no need to fantasize about it anymore. No more imagining what could be possible, doing nothing, and leaving the dream stagnated in your mind. Purposeful planning makes dreams possible.

THERE ARE ACTION STEPS FOR EVERY DREAM

Do you want to make your dream a reality? Then you need an action plan. Build your dream career. Build your dream business. Build your dream life. Write your dream book. You can live your dreams awake! Prepare to do it now and always, with intentional and purposeful planning. Whatever the goal, no matter how big or small, get started by outlining your action steps in writing, whether you want to lose weight, buy a new house, get a better paying job, pay off a few bills, start a new act, or whatever it is. Get going with proven action steps that will put you on the right path to your dream. It's time to dig in. Get started by asking yourself these three simple questions.

What is my dream?

By when do I want to make the dream reality?

What can I do now to get started?

GET STARTED & STAY THE COURSE

Unfortunately, everyone with a vision doesn't act on it. In many cases, if we do act, we move on it without the advantage of taking the time to create doable and realistic action steps to navigate the twists, turns, hills, and valleys along the path. To start, keep it simple and doable. Whatever you do, don't get discouraged and discard the idea. If you value it, it's worth pursuing and staying the course.
