Positive Thinking Journey

To get the better understanding of the spiritual process and journey, the thing about the spiritual path is that it's about appreciating your needs. If you are still dealing with a lot of self-hatred, positive thinking can be really helpful to break out of that old set of thought patterns. I encourage you to do it. But I also encourage you to get to the root of the issue. The more you find out where this self-hatred comes from and why you still believe in, the more you can let that pain go. As that pain goes, you don't need to think positively about yourself. You can simply see more of yourself--your limitations, talents, strengths, and weaknesses. All of you is embraced on this spiritual path, and that includes things that you might not have labeled as "negative." It's another reason we don't hang onto this temporary spiritual tool. Too many things that we would have labeled as positive turn out to be traps that perpetuate suffering while other things that we would have labeled negative turn out to be doorways to freedom. Life is too vast for small thoughts and judgments like this. It's so much easier to simply allow life to be as it and to allow ourselves to be as we are. That's neither positive nor negative. It simply is the truth.

• With every word you say, you are creating your world. When you complain, you are attracting negativity.

• With every thought you think, you are creating your reality. When you catch yourself thinking negativity, replace the thoughts with positive ones or use it as an opportunity to silence your mind.

• Practice mindfulness- Be aware of what you are thinking, doing and saying. You know those times your driving, eating, watching something or having a conversation and you feel like you "wake up" part way through? Avoid that behavior by being present and in the moment. When you are mindful, all you have is the present moment. And when you deal with only the present moment, there is nothing you can't cope with, handle or enjoy.

• Use each opportunity to give thanks. When something bad happens it's so easy to get upset and react to it. We all do it when things go badly. In situations like this, when you have a negative experience, use the magic lifeline of being grateful. Take the opportunity to give thanks for what you do have, what has gone right, or the people that are there to help. By focusing on the positive, you attract more positivity to yourself.

• Visualize success! Visualize yourself succeeding in every aspect of your life. When you think of the job you want, see yourself working that job, when you think about your fitness goals, see yourself lifting the heaviest weights and running down the beach energetically. Make a point of seeing the reality that you want to create.

• Be grateful for the blessings that your life offers and also the lessons. Blessings and lessons are both valuable and help us grown and expand.

• Take stock! Give thanks or count your blessings as often as you can. Focus on what you are grateful for and why.

• Clear your life of whatever is stagnant, unused, causing you harm or is not serving you. Release anything that is not bringing your positivity. This will make room for better things to enter your life and bring you joy.

• Replace negative feelings with positive feelings and enjoy the results!

Meditation
Meditation is a key part of spirituality and opens the door to inviting spiritual experiences and abilities into your life. Meditation works to amplify spirituality in many ways, one of which is opening your mind to the interconnectedness of the Universe.

Positive thinking
Positive thinking is a key principle of spirituality. By having a positive and open outlook on life and your experiences, you will attract what you want, instead of what you don't want.

Intention
Put intention into everything you do. When you intend for something to go well, instead of worrying about what will happen if it doesn't go well, you will have a positive outcome. Putting clear intentions in place helps you achieve goals and have the experiences you want to attract.

Manifestation
Use your thoughts wisely. Manifestation is a great way to attract the experiences you want in life and to alter the conditions of your experiences. The reason for this is that our thoughts have great power and energetic influence. What this means is that when we think unconsciously and let negativity into our thoughts, we bring those low-frequency thoughts into the manifested, or the physical dimension. When we think negatively, we create negative experiences and vice versa.
