"Acceptance is kind of like ending a long standing argument you've been having with the Universe (G-r-r-r-r... ), over how powerful you are.
And I say, "ending," to be both suggestive and diplomatic.

The Universe"
Every human beings possess a tremendous power within them but most do not know how to use that power to get everything they want in life. They feel they do not deserve it because of the lack of self-worth they have towards themselves. Questions often arise: "Who am I? Why would I be the chosen one to have that kind of power? This power is only given to important people, and that's not me. I am just a regular person with no special attributes or characteristics". Well, keep on going with these thoughts and this is exactly what you will get: NOTHING. Like any poker game, it is sometimes CRUCIAL to bluff to make others think you have the winning hand. You need to do the same with the Universe. Let it think you deserve everything you want and IMPOSE your demands. Be vigilant and clear with what you want and what you are looking for. If your mind is cluttered with mixed thoughts (negative and positive), the end result might not always be to your advantage.
Like you do with everything else in your life, when you truly believe in a cause (cancer research, Child abuse foundations, etc..), no matter which one it is, you volunteer your time and passion into that cause. Week-ends, free time, holidays, no matter what else it takes to contribute to the success of the organization. My question to you is: Do you believe in yourself? If you do put that energy into other things, how about putting that same passion and energy into yourself and your success? It has NOTHING to do with selfishness here, its about YOU. No one can take care of you the way you do for yourself. Start prioritizing a little and realize that you will be the ONLY one who will go that extra mile in life to get what they want. Unless you have a significant other that understand your dreams and goals and work with you to make them happen, NO ONE else out there will replicate these same great intentions. Go out there for what you strongly believe in but most importantly, believe in yourself that you can make everything happen the way you anticipated. The Universe will listen and deliver all your wishes.
