The book "10 Elements of Independent Teacher Pedagogy" Born of Anxiety

Paulo Coelho once said, "Everyone has something good to share with others". That sentence he said to state that everyone can write.

That sentence has always been the impetus for me to write. Although I realize my writing is not as beautiful as that of famous writers. Another thing that prompted me to dare to write was anxiety.

My book entitled 10 Elements of Independent Teacher Pedagogy was born out of my anxiety as a schoolmaster. Anxiety about the reality of the learning process in the classroom that is far from the ideal of meaningful and enjoyable learning for learners



The prize as the author of the book selected as the best work is a bonus

In my annual reflection, the main factor of meaningful and enjoyable learning has not occurred in classrooms in Indonesia due to the low pedagogical competence of teachers.

How much does teacher pedagogy get the attention of the government? This question is difficult to answer. In fact, pedagogical issues are increasingly discussed less and less among teachers or stakeholders.

According to the author, the transformation of education in the Merdeka Curriculum will not provide significant changes to the achievement of Indonesian student competencies if teacher pedagogy does not receive serious attention to be improved.

      

Given the importance of teacher pedagogy in meaningful and fun learning efforts in the Merdeka Curriculum, I am very enthusiastic to write a book on pedagogy.

Book 10 Elements of Independent Teacher Pedagogy

The desire to write a book on well-matched pedagogy. The DKI Jakarta Provincial Library and Archives Office (DISPUSIP) held a Writing Workshop in September 2022. I took the class.

It was in that workshop that I finished writing this book with my mentor Mr. Hari Subagya. Even more exciting, this book was declared the Best Work Book.

The book contains 10 elements of teacher pedagogy. An element that is a competency that must be mastered by teachers in order to be able to carry out meaningful and enjoyable learning as independent teachers.

I am very confident that a teacher who masters these 10 elements of pedagogy will be a very pleasant teacher for his students when teaching in class. He will be the perpetrator of changes in classroom learning. That way, the students-insyallah-develop to the maximum both competence and character.

As a schoolmaster, writing books is one of the ways I contribute to building a quality education.

Anxiety is not always negative. Anxiety that is acted upon with positive actions will have a positive impact on others. What is your anxiety that you can pour into positive work for our nation?
